# Google Analytics - Getting started in Peliqan

> Sync Google Analytics GA4 data into Peliqan including events, traffic sources and user reports, then explore and analyze website performance in your data warehouse.

Google Analytics is the go-to platform for millions of website and app owners seeking to gain a deeper understanding of their website and app performance. With Google Analytics, you can fine-tune your digital strategy, optimize your campaigns, and take your online presence to new heights.

This article provides an overview to get started with the **Google Analytics GA4** connector in **Peliqan**. Please [contact support](https://peliqan.io/contact) if you have any additional questions or remarks.

## Connect GA4

In Peliqan, go to Connections > Add Connection > Select Google Analytics in the list > Enter the details of the property you want to sync:

* Account id
* Property id

Complete the oAuth flow, authorize access for Peliqan to your account.

The data will now start to sync. Keep in mind that this could take several hours because of quotas on the Google Analytics API.

## GA4 data

A number of reports will be synced into tables in the data warehouse:

For example use the table **events\_report**, filtered on **event\_name = first\_visit** and ordered by **date**, in order to see the count of new visitors per day on your website:
